John Gallagher trains record breaking horses,
Peter Island holds Warwick and Leicester course records and Mac Gille Eoin holds Epsom course record over 6f.

John GallagherJohn started within the racing industry in 1983 straight from school thus gaining invaluable experience.
His progression led to Assistant Trainer to Lord Tyrone and Head Person for Karl Burke during Daring Destiny and Always Alight successes.
John learnt different methods of training and gained more experience during a 6 month spell in Australia track work riding for Gai Waterhouse and Bart Cummings.
John also rode winners as an amateur for two seasons. “I felt I needed to race ride before training so that I could understand what a horse needs to be able to win”
John has now trained over 120 winners all from his Grove Farm premises. Winners and course record holders from 5 furlong sprinters to 3 mile chasers.
“ I am proud of our lovely premises and excellent facilities with a routine that works as our results show. We have a wide range of fantastic owners.
We have horses all of different abilities which you will see when you explore our website. I hope you like it!”
